• Do not smoke when you start using the gum
• Take at least 30 minutes chew each piece. The nicotine will be absorbed easily if you chew slowly.
• Chew the required numbers of gums to handle craving. Chew 10 to 15 pieces per day and not more than 30 pieces per day.
• Chew the gums every day for one month, gradually decrease the number of gums and later on chew only when you feel craving.
• After about three months, stop chewing the gums. In addition, use a 2-milligram gum whenever you feel to smoke and follow it for some days.
When to go for Nicotine Gum
• Chew the gum whenever you feel to light a cigar
• Do not chew the gum immediately after having coffee, tea, milk, and fruit juice. Wait at least for 15 to 20 minutes.
• If you do not want to have the taste in the morning, chew it after your morning walk but include it as the first thing on the quit day.
How to use Nicotine Gum
• Chew the gum slowly until you get the taste of the gum. If you do not get taste, chew it again.
• When you get the taste, and then put the gum in between your cheeks and your gum line.
• When the taste disappears, chew it again, until you get back the taste and put it back to the cheeks.
• Take at least 20 to 30 minutes to chew each gum and throw it away. Remember not to have any type of liquids when nicotine gum is in your mouth.

• Chew only 15 t0 20 pieces every day
• Never chew more than 30 pieces per day
• When you see a decrease in the urge for smoking, reduce the number of pieces per day.

In Canada British Columbia is the most anti-smoking province and had launched a virtual war on tobacco for years. Some jurisdictions in Canada banned smoking in restaurants long before Ontario. B.C. which also has the highest number of non-smokers in the Canada making 87 per cent of total smokers.
A survey on 25,000 elementary school and high school students was conducted in Vancouver, about what they think of a ban on tobacco at city playing fields. Students said the ban should be extended to parks where kids play. Making Vancouver last month to became the latest city to ban smoking in parks and even on its beach. It even reported needing one fewer cardiologist after smoking was banned in restaurants there.

Smokers are usually under the impression that smoking helps them deal with situations in their life. With each drag they take in, they experience a sense of relief which boosts their confidence and leads them to believe that they are ready to handle and face any situation like a man. Many smokers (especially women) believe that smoking is an excellent way of dieting as it makes you lose your appetite. Smoking does accelerate metabolism and helps lose few pounds. BUT, this is only a temporary phase. In fact, once you are addicted to smoking, it decreases your physical activity levels and makes you feel stressed out. So in a long run, you actually put on weight due to lack of exercise or physical activity.
Physical Appearance:
If you still feel that the above reasons are not good enough and you are one of those who think smoking a cigarette makes you look cool then you are WRONG once again. Smoking is very unhygienic. The tar from the smoke stays on your teeth and makes your teeth look yellow or brown. It also affects your gums causing them to bleed and increases the risk of losing your teeth or developing plague. Smoking speeds up the aging process making your skin and hair look dull. Your skin tends to develop wrinkles and acne and overtime your hair and your body stink of smoke. So how cool is that going to make you look amongst your friends?
Last but not the least, smoking not only affects you but also your family, friends and colleagues. So if not for yourself, at least for your loved ones, quit smoking. Remember with cigarette in your hand, you’re just a DEAD MAN!
